Lil Ninjas

Ages 3-5

A lil ninja's class goals include listening skills, confidence, trying new things, working through frustration, and manners. We do all this through a strategic mix of skills and progressions building both strength and confidence alike.

  • Monday: 5 - 6 PM
  • Tuesday: 11 AM - 12 PM  and 5 - 6 PM

NinjaZone is a progressive level system that evaluates and advances children in their skill and knowledge of core values as described in the NinjaZone creed. Children advance and learn at their own pace. Kids walk away more confident, more aware, stronger and more coordinated.

Ninjazone mission

Mission Ceremony

A mission ceremony is for the advancement of ninja boys or ninja girls to move up to the next level (white, yellow, green and blue). When Ninjas are ready to move to the next level, trainers will fill out an “Invitation to Mission Card.” At their mission, Ninjas will be evaluated on mastery of their skills and on The Creed.

NinjaZone Levels

NinjaZone - White Level

Ninjas train for fundamental body movement, basic skills including Ninja rolling for safety, rolls, carts, basic vaulting, wall & bar progressions, basic kicking & punching technique, development of core strength & speed.

NinjaZone - Yellow Level

For Ninjas who pass the White level Ninja Mission, Yellow level includes total mastery of the White level skills, as well as progressions into some basic flips and more intermediate skills.

NinjaZone - Green Level 

For Ninjas who pass the Yellow level Ninja Mission, Green Ninjas demonstrate mastery of all safety techniques & ability to follow Ninja standards in focus & taking direction. Green Ninjas also work skills such as back flips, gainers off the bar, kick and skill combos, and more advanced circuits.

NinjaZone - Blue Level

For Ninjas who pass the Green level Ninja Mission, Blue Ninjas continue to work on skills of previous levels with advancement in the difficulty of progressions. Blue Ninjas start to work on more advanced skills and flips, with an emphasis on flipping combos and more kicks into more difficult skills.

NinjaZone is a fun and dynamic program that combines obstacle course training, gymnastics, martial arts, and freestyle movement. It’s designed for kids to progress at their own pace while developing discipline, strength, coordination, and life skills. NinjaZone helps children become more confident, aware, and physically fit, all in a supportive and fun environment.

Each class is 60 minutes long and runs for 4 weeks. Classes ran monthly.

Classes are available on the following days and times:

  • Lil Ninjas (Ages 3-5):
    • Monday: 5 - 6 PM
    • Tuesday: 11 AM - 12 PM  and 5 - 6 PM
    • Thursday: 5 - 6 PM
    • Saturday: 11 AM - 12 PM
  • NinjaZone (Ages 6-11):
    • Monday: 6 - 7 PM
    • Tuesday: 6 - 7 PM
    • Thursday: 6 - 7 PM
    • Saturday: 12 - 1 PM

In the Lil Ninjas class, children focus on:

  • Developing listening skills and confidence.
  • Trying new things and working through frustration.
  • Learning manners and building basic movement skills. This class uses a mix of fun progressions that help kids build both strength and confidence in a playful way.

The NinjaZone class is designed as a progressive system where children develop their skills and core values, such as discipline and focused energy. Children progress through levels at their own pace, and the class helps them build strength, coordination, and confidence. The program’s core values are inspired by the NinjaZone creed.

Children should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for easy movement, such as:

  • T-shirt and shorts or leggings – Uniforms and Headbands will be provided.
  • Athletic shoes with good grip (preferably indoor shoes)

You can register for NinjaZone classes online through the Littleton YMCA website or in-person at the YMCA. Be sure to check for available spots and class schedules when registering.

Yes, you can sign your child up for more than one NinjaZone class if you wish, provided there is availability in the schedule.
