We’re excited to partner with the NFL FLAG Football Program to bring youth flag football leagues to the Aurora, Arvada-Duncan, and Southwest YMCAs! Join us for an action-packed season where kids can learn the game, build skills, make friends, and have fun in a safe, non-contact environment.
Fall 2026 Youth NFL Flag Football Information
Outdoor Season Dates: Aug. 31 - Oct. 17

Youth Sports Flag Football Leagues: $180 for YMCA members | $230 for non-members
One all-inclusive fee. No hidden costs, no fundraising, no extra equipment to buy. Every registration includes:
- Official uniform – NFL Flag jersey included.
- 6–8 week season with a one-hour weekly practice in reserved indoor gym or field space
- Saturday games with trained referees at every game
- End-of-season tournament — every team plays, every skill level
- Team and individual picture package
Financial assistance is available and the application takes minutes. Cost should never keep a kid off the field — ask us.
Comparable leagues charge extra for uniforms, photos, and tournaments — ours are included, plus a pro-game experience worth the price of admission on its own.

The YMCA NFL Flag Football program offers an exciting, non-contact football experience where kids can learn and develop skills in a fun, supportive, and safe environment. This league focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development while giving children the chance to play flag football in a positive setting.

The season typically runs for 8 weeks. Exact dates will be provided at the time of registration.
All practices and games for the NFL Flag Football program are held at either the Southwest YMCA, Aurora YMCA or Arvada-Duncan YMCA on the designated flag football fields.
To provide the best game day experience and balance competition, games for older division participants may be scheduled at other Metro Denver locations or local neighboring fields.
- Practices are held once a week, typically on weekday evenings.
- Games are played on Saturdays. The schedule will be shared upon registration.
Players must wear:
- Athletic shorts/pants
- Mouthguard (required for all participants)
- Cleats (optional but recommended)
- Flag football belt (provided by the YMCA)
Note: Jerseys will be provided as part of the program registration.
