Spring into warmer temps and fun programs at the YMCA of Metro Denver. Check out the range of programs offered for youth and the young at heart. Open to members and non-members of the Y.

YMCA members receive early access to register as well as member savings. Prices vary, consider joining the Y to save.

  • Boxing Boot Camp – Arvada YMCA – 4/3 
    Learn and practice the fundamentals of boxing with a certified personal trainer and boxing instructor and go beyond just the punches with strength and conditioning in each session. 
     

  • Mobility & Flexibility Technique Series – Arvada YMCA - 4/1 
    Develop skills in foundational stretching techniques, mobility drills, exercises for joint resiliency, and learn the relationship between strength, flexibility and mobility.  
     

  • Inversion Immersion: Techniques to Elevate Your Yoga Practice – 4/5
    Take your yoga practice to new heights with this empowering workshop focused on mastering inversions. Whether you’re new to going upside down or looking to refine your technique, this session will provide the tools, techniques, and confidence you need to elevate your practice. 
     
  • Advanced Youth Strength – 4/7 
    A continuation of Foundations of Youth Strength, where teens continue to master basic exercise movement, safe barbell setup, and exercise strategy concepts and focus on workout planning specific to your goals, understand progressive overload and sports conditioning.

  • Beyond EGYM - 4/17, 5/8, 5/29, 6/19 
    Extend your EGYM experience in this two-week series to gain additional techniques to extend your training. 

 

New at the Aurora YMCA!

Gain muscle activation techniques that will address range of motion and tightness in the neck, back and glutes.

This series is a full body workout using TRX with a focus on building overall strength and improving mobility and flexibility.

  • Teen Takeover (ages 13-18) – second Fridays of the month – Teens can enjoy the Aurora YMCA during exclusive extended hours (8 – 10 PM) for teens!
